Chad Stewart, former Disney animator, is offering online animation and drawing classes. He has been in the feature animation industry for 24 years and has worked for companies such as Turner Feature Animation, Disney Feature Animation, Sony Imageworks, and most recently he has been at Sony Pictures Animation in 3D Visual Development. His films include The Smurfs 2, Surf’s Up, The Emperor’s New Groove, The Polar Express, Fantasia/2000, Tarzan, and many more. Sonah Matsumoto is an art teacher for all ages. She has experience teaching in elementary schools, junior high schools, high school workshops, and adult painting classes. She teaches out of her home studio in Castaic. Her formal education includes an undergraduate degree in art and a Master's in art education. Classes cover a variety of techniques such as drawing and painting, origami, pastel, weaving, printmaking, watercolor, and sculpture. Mrs. Matsumoto is currently accepting new students.

Robert Florczak is an accomplished artist who teaches privately in the area. Mr. Florczak is a graduate of the esteemed Cooper Union in New York and has taught at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, the Laguna College of Art, and currently the Academy of Art University. As a professional artist, he has had an active career spanning four decades, with extensive work in the fine art, advertising, entertainment, and publishing fields, and whose original works are in the private collections of a number of notable celebrities as well as in corporate collections. Nine of Mr. Florczak's children's books have been published by Harcourt, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Tyndale, and Dutton.

Alison Marek offers private film instruction. She currently teaches at the Los Angeles division of NYFA (New York Film Academy), and received her MFA from the prestigious film directing program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Her screenplays won production grants from Showtime Networks, Inc. and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Her short films have played worldwide in festivals, been broadcast on Showtime Networks and other cable stations, and have been nominated for and won several awards, including a Director's Award at the Hearts & Minds Film Festival in 2010.
